Ok, Im chasing a pair of slimline tinted weathersheilds, A centre armrest and a pair of stainless steel sidebars/steps for a 99 model HrV. After speaking to honda they cant locate any of these in australian dealerships so its either find them here or on ebay.... PM me with your prices and conditions... you can find after markets weathershiedls on ebay.... I got my arm rest off ebay UK some time ago, but there is nothing at the moment there. nannis Unfortunately the word that comes to mind is 'difficult', but not impossible. Ok, Im chasing a pair of slimline tinted weathersheilds... In Australia, the only place you MIGHT get them would be by ringing every single Honda Wrecker (probably Australia wide). Even this is no guarantee of success. I only just got mine after 2-3 years of looking. I ended up having to get my Dad to bring some back from Honda Switzerland (they are made by Aerolift Germany). To courier the Weathershields from Switzerland to Australia would have cost approx. $600 AUD. There is a company in the UK that make them, but once again the freight costs are exorbitant. From memory the company was called Climair. Note: Australia Post doesn't accept packages larger than 1 metre, so it needs to couriered. A centre armrest... I suspect you'll need to have these custom made, or imported from Europe. www.4x4x4.com in the UK used to sell them, but their website currently shows no listing for the HR-V. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Good luck. Regarding the Weathershield. Several years ago I managed to buy a Driver side weathershield (full-size and clear, not slimline and tinted) from a firm in Melbourne (if you search the very old 'Weathershield' threads you might find their name). Although the plastic was of acceptable quality, I really didn't like the way it was fixed to the vehicle (there were 7-8 screws scratching the tint from the window everytime the window went up and down) and took it off within a few days. It is still in the shed, send me a message if you want it. I'll be going down to Melbourne around the end of the month. |
