Gear knob removal
Can anyone tell me how to remove the gear knob in my HRV. It came with the standard, and an aftermarker leather one. It has the std. one on at the moment, but I would like to swap over to the leather one. Is there any special technique? I have disconnected the gaiter from the knob, is it now just a case of pulling on the knob until is comes off in my hand? Thanks, Adam Is there any special technique? Have you tried turning it counter-clockwise? :) i know patrick knows how to take a stick off   Thanks Racoon, you got responded before I had a chance to update this. I tried unscrewing at lunchtime and off it came. Leather one is now in place. It has made the height of the shifter slighly lower, which has had quite a large effect on the feeling of the shift. Seems harder to move the lever, but much more direct. i know patrick knows how to take a stick off   Haha you sir a cheeky young whippersnapper ;) :D |
