Check this out, slight mod on the back
Hey What you think about this? I like the shaved rear hatch... did u also add skirts as well? No the car has no body kit on the only things are the side small parts as u see, this modification is done in Photoshop and I was thinking of doing it but the problem is with the law I have to have the plate number on the original position and stickers are not allowed. Only the front I can put it on the side like the Evos and the new Alfa Romeos. why not on the bumper? why not on the bumper? I'm guessing you saying why i dont put the plate number on the bumper, well i like it when its not in the middle and i like cars which their back is str8end up. thats what i mean :D Oh ok its nice Sorry looks like a van now but that's my opinion. yea it looks wierd, i think so too, i'm not sure what i think! i like it :) its slick Ok its good and bad! how about that? no, no, no, no, no, no, no... Actually I find it slick, but I love my V too much to do something like that. I believe that there are cars that ask for mod's (Punto, Corsa, maybe Saxo). But not the HR-V. I think it looks cool.....but how the hell do you open the boot up...I cant see any handles. Mike  hehe good question - i guess a remote would come handy :lol Well there are many ways, i can connect a trunk opener on my alarm remote, or i can take the trunk opener from the Civic or i just hide the trunk opener Here's what Honda originally planned for the rear end of the HR-V back in 1997 http://freespace.virgin.net/julius.newell/j-wj_rear.jpg http://freespace.virgin.net/julius.newell/j-wj.jpg What a pity they didnt, it looks cool to me Cheers, Mike yup, we have discussed this prototype before: http://www.hondasuv.com/forum_mdx/viewtopic.php?t=119 WOW, thats nice and practicle! That could have been a solution for my Woofers, now i have to think a way to move the spear tire so i can use the space for woofers! yes we have discussed it before but its good to have a place to discusse it again since the old forum is locked so here it goes: The 1997 Tokyo Motor Show debut of the J-WJ - the concept behind HR-V Introducing the Honda J-WJ, a wagon that melds futuristic styling with the capabilities of a performance-oriented cross-country vehicle. The J-WJ looks equally great in the town or the country. It creates its own category of 'High Rider' lightweight cross-country vehicle. http://www.honda.co.jp/motorshow/1997/e/auto/j-wj_0/j-wj_0.html The J-WJ is perfect for anyone who thinks that serious 4WD machines are a little bit more than what's needed. Honda's unique realtime 4WD with Dual Pump System (DPS) and large diameter tires provide the kind of performance that handles rough-road conditions with ease. In addition, adequate ground clearance and good visibility also prove advantageous. The J-WJ differs from conventional cross-country vehicles, however, in the super smooth driving performance it offers. Lightweight and compact, with continuously variable Honda Multi-Matic transmission, the J-WJ offers stress-free driving and a refreshing breeze through the fully opened soft-top roof. In addition, the J-WJ offers something entirely new for cross-country vehicles: a futuristic look that is appropriate in any setting. Exterior styling, especially the area around the projector type headlamps, speaks of city-bred refinement. In the interior as well, the J-WJ frees itself from the conventional perception of cross-country vehicles. The J-WJ is definitely a leading edge car in its category. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Main Features Dual SRS airbag system ABS anti-lock brake system Multi-purpose center panel (including navigation system) Projector-type headlights Full-open soft-top Side-opening rear tailgate with built-in spare tire holder Main Specifications Length / Width / Height : 3,950mm /1,780mm /1,775mm Wheelbase : 2,360mm Engine : 1.5-liter VTEC Continuously variable Honda Multi-Matic transmission Realtime 4WD with Dual Pump System (DPS) http://www.honda.co.jp/motorshow/1997/e/auto/j-wj_1/j-wj_1.html For over 110 years, cars have served as a favored means of transportation as well as a statement of style. But the common perception of the automobile is undergoing change. People want vehicles to support varied lifestyles, provide generous space, and encourage communication between family and friends. Maybe that's why so many people are enthusiastic about the Creative Mover Series, Honda's 'lifestyle enhancing vehicles' that prove driving can be fun. Honda believes that the cars of tomorrow should do more than simply provide transportation - they should help people enjoy their lives. To communicate this concept of automotive fun to the world, Honda is presenting four new J-Mover concept cars and introducing its Twin Ring Motegi. Honda J-Movers were developed to exemplify an ideal relationship between man and car. This approach led to the concept of 'Small is Smart,' which calls for cars that are compact and lightweight, with reduced impact on the environment, yet highly functional and efficient for everyday use. The striking looks, sensitive steering and agile handling of the J-Movers remind drivers of the sensation they had when they first gripped a steering wheel.Honda J-Movers consist of four models. The J-VX embodies Honda's commitments to environmental protection and safety while at the same time creating an entirely new set of sports car values right for a new age. The J-MJ is a vehicle that delivers pure driving pleasure through exceptional performance and cabin comfort. The new J-WJ is a radical wagon that masterfully combines tough driving capability with driving enjoyment. And the J-MW is a multi-functional wagon that represents an entirely new category of passenger car. Four new Honda models. Four new car genres. The J-Movers bring joyful new dimensions to people's new lifestyles. The opening of Twin Ring Motegi represents the beginning of the 21st century's 'mobile culture.' In this world dedicated to mobile enjoyment, you can view motor sports and even take part in them yourself. At the same time, you'll learn about safety - the ultimate key to appreciating automotive life. Twin Ring Motegi is Honda's philosophy on mobility actualized, a place that provides a totally new type of enjoyment. http://www.honda.co.jp/motorshow/1997/e/auto/fun/fun.html virtual reality demonstration of the exterior and interior of the J-WJ http://www.honda.co.jp/IPIX/mtshow2/e/conc-e.html http://www.honda.co.jp/IPIX/mtshow2/e/jwj-1e.html and a few more and more Well you were in the mood for writting! :-) This is a nice car, i seriously would prefer it like this rather than what it is now! I wonder if i could make it look like this with changing the interior and the extirior! Check out what i found: http://www.honda-club-ems-jade.de/Honda%20News/Honda_Studien/honda_studien.html yep - thats a nice collection, tho kinda chaotic browsing hondas site i found the predecessor of J-WJ... that would be i guess the grandfather of HR-V  going back to 1995... introducing S-MX the street mover you can see the obvious similarities [not only in the color scheme] :) http://www.honda.co.jp/motorshow/1995/contents/smx1.html http://www.honda.co.jp/motorshow/1995/contents/smx2.html and some more ... Check out what i found: http://www.honda-club-ems-jade.de/Honda%20News/Honda_Studien/honda_studien.html The "Model X" looks identical to the Honda Element - a North American Mode only, I think but the word is that Honda are considering bringing it over to Europe to replace the HR-V as interest is so high. ... i didnt know u could go overboard with orange. looks cool though. the interior looks like a small element. Some kick ass car man, what with the Japanese and the orange color BTW? ... i could probably do this to mine in a few years since the upholstery inside my HRV is getting a bit shabby. Have you ever thought about white interior? i had light gray interior (seats and carpets) in my Taurus, it did look good, but it was a PITA keeping it clean in winter. my company Alero has a light beige interior and it's about the same as with the Bull. i wouldn't go any lighter than these machines. EDIT: now your picture opened.. having a light dash is BAAD in terms of visibility. it reflects off your windscreen. the Taurus' dash was darker on top due to the same reason. Hi Saro, You have a thing with white dont you, your underwear must be the brightest in the world lol Mike Hey mike, i have a thing with white yea but i my uderwear is is not white! thanks for noticing And mrtn, if i leave the top black part and paint the grey part only, then it should be ok, there will be no reflection. Have you ever thought about white interior? Nope. :) Well its time to think about it! Well its time to think about it! OK, I thought about it...Nope. :) I've got better things to do than clean the inside of my car every other day. theres a reason for the cockpits to be dark less light gets directly into your eyes and that keeps the retina open so that you can see the outside better anyone who drove a convertable without sunglasses knows what im talkin about exactly, read alfspine's comments on the visibility matter: http://www.hondasuv.com/main2/viewtopic.php?t=1127 i think it can be done if ur in the states  or check this out http://www.hondadelsol.com/Hot%20Import%20Nights%202002%20Dallas/108-0893_IMG.JPG |
