Green Air Filters

Hi all, I'm a newbie with an '02 Supersonic Blue Vtec 4x4 HR-V. Having previously owned a Civic Type-R (200-bhp).

I note a fair few people have added some custom performance engine parts, such a the Green Air Filters. Do these actually make a difference?

I don't expect to match the performance of a Type-R, but a little quicker would be nice.
i'm from the contra-party.

you'll have a marginal air flow increase and notably shorter engine life.
a clean original filter is just as good for air flow.
If your looking to get more performance......you need to be looking for another car

The HRV is called "The Joy Machine", not for its performance but for it ability to leap tall speed humps is a single bound.
I love the noise it makes - that's it really :)

lol Thanks all. I am quite impressed with the speed of the HR-V and whilst not as quick as my Type-R, I am enjoying the Joy Machine in different ways. :D :D :D
