Yet another question! Has anyone got a wiring diagram for the audio? Wired in some new front speakers,sound okay but not 100% i got the polarity right.Thanks. how did you wire them? clipped the oem wires? Yes i did snip the box thing off the wires. Just look at the old speakers, you can see which wire goes to what speaker terminal - dead easy once you've done that :) Just look at the old speakers, you can see which wire goes to what speaker terminal - dead easy once you've done that :) Maybe HR-V is different, but every honda I've owned were all polarized backwards. I don't know why Honda does that. A meter is needed to get it correct when installing new speakers. I guess that's why the midrange sounded wrong . . . . Here's a pun: Maybe it's because the speaker polarity was BASS-ACKWARDS.:-) I'm a bit different in that every car i've ever owned has always had the stereo equipment upgraded as soon as i've got the car home. That way i've never had to worry about the OE fit stuff as it's always been taken out and then refitted when the car was sold. Ok it's a pain in the ass running wires and stripping interiors out to sound deaden and run miles of amp cable etc but the end result has always been worth it. |
