Will prespray with WD40 or Googone help with badge removal

My plan is to totally debadge.

But, I don't want buy a hair dryer for just this as it will sit and be wasted.

Will a prespray of WD 40 or GooGone help to soften the adhesive and NOT harm the paint if I let it sit for an hour or so?

Goo Gone shouldn't bother the paint, but you would apply a little and let it work, then apply some more. It shouldn't take an hour.

WD-40 for that long of a time may be an issue with regard to staining.
you can leave your car out in direct sunlight, that will warm up the glue and then use floss and saw thru the glue
Yeah, wait for a hot day. Leave the car out in direct sunlight for awhile and let it heat up. I used fishing line on mine and did it on a 90+ degree summer day. Worked great.

You'll need the Goo Gone or something similar to take the leftover adhesive residue off.

If you're doing a total debadge, have you already made sure that none of your badges are pegged in addition to the adhesive. On my Camry, the TOYOTA, V6, and XLE badges were on with just adhesive, but the CAMRY lettering and the Toyota symbol were pegged.
OK last question then

Does the 2008 Taco have any pegged badges. Cause, we don't need no stinkin badges!

You may want to ask this question in the Tacoma forum?
Like the tutorials say, use a heat gun and fishing line to remove the badge. Then remove the sticky stuff with Goo Gone. Just be careful not too rub too hard with your rag. You'll get swirls.

I prefer to remove sticky stuff with polish and a buffer.

Tacomas have no pegs. Just stick on.
also wax that area once removed
