Home-Leather conditioner
Leather conditioner
What is the best way to protect leather seats? My wifes 4Runner is three years old and the leather is mint, but I would like to keep it that way. Does conditioner work, does it leave a greasy feel to the leather? I was looking through Adams site and found this product: http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-66-leather-conditioner-12oz.aspx Has anyone tried this? Adam, have you used this personally? Thanks Dana :Bruce: Hey Dana_15, That product works awesome; I have a five year old car with burnt orange leather seats. I clean and condition them at least once a month with Adam's Leather and Interior Cleaner and then Adam's Leather Conditioner. Both products are super easy to use! The conditioner leaves a dry clean finish which offers basic treatment to the leather, plus UV protection. Let me know if this answers your question! Thanks, ^^Yes, thank you. I'll place an order soon. What do you apply the conditioner with? Just curious so I can order everything at once! :Bruce: Hey Dana_15, Cleaning the Leather seats is EASY! Just spray the cleaner on the seat and wipe off with a Super-Plush Microfiber Towel (http://www.adamspolishes.com/c-5-microfiber-products.aspx). Applying the Conditioner is simple just use one of or Foam Applicator Sponge (http://www.adamspolishes.com/c-15-accessories.aspx). Rub on and let air dry (It air dries Very Quick!!) When you are ready to order enter the Promo Code "SLMO" and get 10% off your purchase. Thanks, Thanks man, I placed an order yesterday. Good experience, you guys have a great site! :Bruce: An excellent product that I use is the Pinnacle brand leather cleaner and leather conditioner. Best smelling conditioner I've ever used. Doesn't leave the seats greasy at all. Pinnacle is also an excellent brand, and their Leather Conditioner is a little more glossy than the Adam's. My favorite competitor is Pinnacle, and that line is very good. By the way, I thought I saw an order sneak through from you Dana, and thanks for your business! -Adam:thumbsup: Thank you. I can't wait to do a write up on all the "goods". Thanks again. vcxkhckghv ^^^Sienna again, lol. If so, I may give it a try... Adam, what kind of smell does your's have? Is it a leather smell? If so, I may give it a try... Indeed, both our Leather & Interior Cleaner, and Conditioner are leather scented. Not too overpowering, super dry, and the Conditioner has SPF 65. Hmmm....may have to give that leather conditioner a try. Just received the "goods" today, the leather conditioner smells great! In fact so does everything else! I should be able to get to use it on the weekend! Thanks! :Bruce: Hey LanNinja, The Leather Conditioner (http://www.adamspolishes.com/c-10-dressings.aspx) is Awesome. It smells like leather, easy to use, and a great protector. If you do try out the Conditioner I would suggest also getting the Leather and Interior Cleaner (http://www.adamspolishes.com/c-24-cleaners.aspx)!!! If you place an order by the 14th you will receive 15% off, by entering the discount code "TN" at online Checkout. Let me know if you have anymore questions!! He just bought a new Tacoma Off-road truck. It's white by the way. Hey LanNinja, The Leather Conditioner (http://www.adamspolishes.com/c-10-dressings.aspx) is Awesome. Hey LanNinja, thanks very much for your business! Please report on your results, and if you have any questions, give a call or email. Thanks again:thumbsup: -Adam The leather cleaner and conditioner work great. Not greasy at all and both have a hint of leather smell, not overpowering but just enough. The leather seems to feel softer to the touch now, very nice. Thank you! :Bruce: Hey Dana_15 Glad to hear everything worked good!!!! Thanks, I just used the Adam's Leather Cleaner, and Adam's Leather Conditioner. The Cleaner works great. If you've never cleaned your leather you'll be very surprised at how funky it probably is, especially the steering wheel, Shifter knob, and armrest. Use a white rag to see all the funk that comes off. The Conditioner works great too. Not greasy or slippery. It feels like it should be safe for applying on a leather steering wheel without causing you to loose your grip. Thanks guys! I'm glad you had a chance to use the goods, and appreciate the kind words. I'll reward before, during, and after, photos with free goodies and kindness! If you have a digital camera, I'd be honored if you could take a pic along the way.:D Thanks again for your kindness guys, and have an outstanding weekend, Adam:thumbsup: Thanks guys! I should have some swirl and scratch repair pics later this week. Unfortunately I did not take before photos of cleaning the seats and glass. Photos would not have done justice because the leather conditioner helped with the texture. For example I cleaned the steering wheel on the 4Runner today and it looked the same before and after...but the cleaner took quite a bit of dirt and grime off. I cleaned that steering wheel two weeks ago with Armor all Leather wipes...time to throw that stuff out. The 4Runner is my wifes truck and she's a nurse so she doesn't get dirty like I do  Before: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b101/dana_15/Truckpics314.jpg After: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b101/dana_15/Truckpics316.jpg But this speaks volumes, clean cloth used ONLY on the steering wheel: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b101/dana_15/Truckpics317.jpg Drivers seat: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b101/dana_15/Truckpics318.jpg Glass: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b101/dana_15/Truckpics313.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b101/dana_15/Truckpics320.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b101/dana_15/Truckpics321.jpg I've used Stoners and Meguires, Adams product is very comparable and leaves a clean streak free shine. Nice bottle also. Definately worth getting a bottle, especially if you are placing an order anyways  :Bruce: Damn you Dana, now I gotta spend more money! ^^^, don't blame me, blame Adam! :Bruce: Looks great Dana. Yeah, I ordered more of their stuff too. I can't stop! ^^Thanks man. I wish we had better weather this weekend, the 4Runner was purchased used and its three years old, the paint is in pretty good condition, but it really needs to be claybarred and polished. The rims need some work as well...... :Bruce: |
