The American truck

Don't take the bait, he's a troll.

Acura Boy - Could you at least keep all your useless and repetative posts down in the general forum? --------- Perhaps Americans should stand behind the manufacturers of their national trucks? --------- Perhaps domestic manufacturers should say "Thank you" to all their customers over the years by building a superior product.

In Argentina Nov '06-'08. Hopefully when I return, the forums will be better (unlikely).

I don't usually bite, but I couldn't resist this bait. Heh heh...

--------- You know, this could be a new trend!! A Canadian who is "patriotic" to the United States! You should be Bush's personal advertiser, and kiss-ass

200)?200:this.scrollHeight); overflow: hidden;"> THIS FORUM SUCKS ---------

An Indian born Canadian, no less...

"To compare baseball with other team games is to say the Hope Diamond is a nice chunk of carbon. The endless variety of physical and mental skills demanded by baseball is both uncomparable and incomparable." - Bill Veeck

"Freedom is dangerous. You can either accept the risks that come with it or eventually lose it all step-by-step. Each step will be justified by its proponents as a minor inconvenience that will help make us all "safer." Personally, I'd rather have a slightly more dangerous world that respects freedom more." - The Speed Criminal

I apologize if this is in the wrong section. The reason why I chose to start this thread in this section of the forum is that it ionvolves more economics than it does actual truck.

So, anyways, here is the statement: Undoubtedly, the American truck was, is, and will be the workhorse of the industrial America. There is no denying it. Pick Up Trucks were born in America, and the best will still be made in America. No denying that. Why do domestic fans fear about these silly put-put import trucks? The home of the real truck is Detroit; it has been. it is, and it will be.

Argue this. There is no denying that the American truck is the ultimate workhorse of the industrial American. --------- is every post from you from now on going to be how patriotic you are? (even though you're canadian and not american). it's getting old.

200)?200:this.scrollHeight); overflow: hidden;"> south korea's got seoul --------- I was just trying to underscore the greatness of the American truck. I firmly believe that the American truck is the ultimate workhorse of the industrial American. I just thought I woulsd assert this at a time when there seems to be confusion as to which truck type is the better. --------- Don't say "will be." There's no way of knowing.

It doesn't take a genius to create an "American truck." Big motor + heavy duty frame + tough looks

It's only matter of time before foreign manufacturers decide to venture into this field...and then the domestic companies have to watch your back. Just because you have been making HD American trucks for decades doesn't secure your future. You have more experience, and know what the consumers want, but that doesn't mean someone else can figure it out in a shorter amount of time.

The American truck is the workhorse, but I figure imports can figure out the secret to building a workhorse that appeals to Americans as well.
