^Couple of corrections. My personal preference is the Sienna for its refinement, safety, and quality, but I'd go for the Quest if its reliability seemed to be improving. 200)?200:this.scrollHeight); overflow: hidden;"> IFCAR Homepage IFCAR Comparo: Economy Sedans IFCAR Comparo: Luxury Un-Sport Sedans IFCAR Comparo: Midsize Crew Cab Pickups IFCAR Comparo: Compact Hatchbacks and Wagons I am IFCAR and I approve this message. --------- I own one %26 maybe I should have said throttle response instead of HP, since I obviously stand corrected. I drove all 3 2006 models before my wife %26 I decided on a gently used (completely thrashed) 2001 Toyota Sienna XLE. It has had a few issues, that have hopefully been resolved in the newer models. I felt that the Quest was better off the line than the Odyssey, not that I was racing them or anything, but I felt an oveall lag more from the Honda, than the Nissan. The Toyota was fine %26 responsive. 200)?200:this.scrollHeight); overflow: hidden;">

Balance is key.
Long time no see. And "the majority of owners reporting few problems" is a terrible, terrible record for a car that's no more than two years old. IIRC, a year-old Quest was having 51 problems per 100 vehicles, which was still one of the worst records among other cars that age. A new car shouldn't have ANY problems for some time, any problem at all is an anamoly for the average car. And the Quest has had very many problems. 200)?200:this.scrollHeight); overflow: hidden;"> IFCAR Homepage IFCAR Comparo: Economy Sedans IFCAR Comparo: Luxury Un-Sport Sedans IFCAR Comparo: Midsize Crew Cab Pickups IFCAR Comparo: Compact Hatchbacks and Wagons I am IFCAR and I approve this message. --------- The Quest seems too weird to me, in an art deco kind of way. Also, the materials are kinda cheap. The Sienna at the auto show was looking awfully beat up after several thousand people went in and out of it. It looked like it was a minivan that wasn't designed for actually carrying people and cargo. That leaves me with the Odyssey. It's too expensive, but I think it's great. I wouldn't mind driving that mom mobile...ok, maybe I would, but it's still the best. 200)?200:this.scrollHeight); overflow: hidden;">

"SATURN the evolution of minimalism and customer service in every vehicle. Cause it isnt just about what we design, its about how we sell it as well."
I agree, the Chrysler minivans definitely are better than the Nissan Quest. However, I think I'd still put the Sienna ahead of the Chrysler, mostly because of powertrain and interior. To tell you the truth I wouldn't even consider the Quest. It appears to be a good vehicle on paper, but it was very poorly executed in actual design. Nissan had kids fresh out of college design the interior, and it turned out to be terrible - probably the worst on the market. And as ifcar mentioned, reliability has been poor as well, which is not very promising considering its a brand new vehicle. |
