ok, my instrument cluster has been out for some time now. ive tried the reset thingy ive read herre somewhere but that didnt work. all my gauges, speedometer, odometer is all out. only thing i get it normal startup signals when ignition is turned. anyways, i yanked it out today and took a look. is there anything i could do to get it working as in: opening it up and cleaning or replacing something. i know there has to be something. mechanics always say that you dont have to replace the whole thing, just parts inside of it that doesnt work. anybody got any ideas or do i have to get another one? possibly off ebay.

Make sure it's plugged in tightly and your speedometer cable is in correctly. Do your dash lights and warning lights work? If so, the cluster is plugged in. In that case, check your fuses. There may be a weak connection between the gauges and sensors and you may need a new cluster.
