I dont know if this is my water pump.... but when I drive at around 2500 rpm's or when my tranny changes gears and the rpm's drop, i get these wierd sucking nooise like maybe im not getting enough air or like marbles under water just shakinggg.. Im thinking its my water pump and if it is.... has anyone changed their own waterpump before??

BTW this is on an 1993 e36 325is

I changed the water pump on both my cars. It's pretty easy. Read the procedure in your Bentley or Haynes. If you don't have a manual, I'm sure there's a procedure online someplace...

Easy depends on if the fan is siezed onto the water pump shaft :P
