sticky calipers?

I have some steering wheel wobble in my 328i. Would a front caliper cause this wobble? My wheels have been balances, the tires are new, new suspension and bushings. I seem to do it until the car warms up, or I get on the highway and drive 15 miles or so. Then it does not do it until the car sits for an hour or so. Anyone have this happen?

Caliper shouldn't cause a wobble. I'd cause a drag over to that side. If you've got new suspension and bushings....my bet would be either you've got a wheel that's:
1) low on air
2) thrown the weight
3) been put on with an airgun without regard to torque specs
4) warped rotor or rotor with pad deposits on it
5) wheel bearings are shot.

I had the same problem - turns out it was a warped rotor - just barely. the pads on the car are so "sticky" that even a slight warpage can "yank" on the wheel. it would come and go as i used the brakes - I suspect my caliper may be sticky too - not allowing the piston to always retract completely, but calipers are more expensive than rotors . .
BTW - I had the old rotors lathed - to no effect. new is the way to go.

A slight vibration that goes away after the first few miles is probably from the tires flatspotting while the car is parked.

If it doesn't go away, and you've checked all the basics -- straight, balanced wheels, good shocks/bushings/bearings -- then take a look at the calipers.

A bum caliper can cause a wobble, even if it's not locked up tightly.

When they installed the control arm bushings, did they fuck up the orientation of the bushing in the lollipop?
