E36 M3 maintenance(Flex Disk, thermostat)

I am in the final steps of purchasing a 1995 M3. The car has been inspected and turns out it needs a new thermostat housing, and guibbo... also another DME drain hole but that will wait. I figured while I am doing these it would be a good idea to instal transmission mount enforcers, and also any hoses(possibly with silicone hoses if it is worth it). Are these relatively easy DIY jobs, I will buying a bentley, and haynes manual. Can you guys give me a complete list of everything I will need and where I should get them. Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Below, i have listed a starting point

Flex Disc (Guibo)
$84.50 $84.50
E36 M3 1995-99 UUC Motorwerks Tranny Mount Enforcer Kit
$70.00 $70.00
M50/M52 Aluminum Thermostat Housing
$34.95 $34.95
E34 525i 91-95 (M50 engine), E36 325i/328i/M3 Replacement Thermostat
$23.25 $23.25
Thanks again

Definitely. I just bought a 95 M3 and have got to do this also. he Guibo can be tricky sometimes apparently, but very doable.

While you're at it you may want to replace the radiator, hoses, and water pump. Bimmerparts has the set for $250.

The radiator, and water pump are apparently in good condition and have been replaced previously. Here is actually a link to the vehicle on roadfly

Any other suggestions, do I need anything else?

anyone done this repair? Can you give me a complete list of necessary items?

Guibo is not exactly easy, but is pretty straight forward. There is just a lot of stuff to do. My first time took me an entire weekend, so get started Friday afternoon if you don't have alternate transportation.

Also, you need to get 6 more nuts to bolt the Guibo back in. The nuts are not perfectly round, so they won't back out, but you are only supposed to use them once. I didn't know this beforehand, so I just put them back in with Red Loctite. I bet it will really suck next time I do this job...

thanks for the info, I will get the bolts as well, does anyone know the part # or where I can buy them. Any other suggestions, tips? Even a DIY site would be greatly helpful. Thanks again
