M50-S52 swap project wont start! Help!

Ok, here's the lowdown:
I have just completed swapping a S52 engine out of 98 M3 into a 95 325is chassis (build date 1/95).
The 325is chassis has EWS.
I used all the wiring, DME and intake from the 325is and literally put in the M3 engine (block, cylinder head).
The DME has a standard Conforti chip.
I have triple-checked all wiring, everything is connected appropriately.
I'm using the 325is fuel rail w/ the M3 injectors.
The car will crank and turn over, but will not start.
There is spark at the plugs.
I have tried the stock chip, same results.
I can hear the fuel pump turning on when I put turn ignition to on position; it hums, doesn't really make pumping noise (don't know if this is normal or not).
There is plenty of gas in the car.
Battery has enough juice.
I know that both chips I currently have are not ideal, but I thought for sure they would at least start the car, even if they made it run poorly.

Thoughts?

Oh, forgot to add fuel filter is new. However, I don't think I'm getting fuel up to the injectors. Going to check that.

did you swap fuel pressure regulators?
I believe it is at the end of the fuel rail

Not positive but don't you need to change the dme for the m3 aswell?
I do not think it is even possible if good for the engine to use the 2.5 programming to run the m3 engine. I belive they changed alot post 95 e36 (m3/325i/is), not to mention the differences in the types of engines you are using.

the issue is surely fuel related.

If the pump is running the next step is the fuel pressure.

Without buying an indicator it is a guess.

Later,

1. fuel hoses- in and out accidentally swapped
1. (crank sensor) from which engine? but your having spark..
3. crank pulley! (different engines different timing!!! )
this is your starting point

Its definitely fuel supply AFAICT. I did have the fuel hoses routed wrong. Fixed that, but still not getting fuel up to the fuel injector rail. Testing pump through relay gets pump running, but there seems to be no fuel flow when I try to crank it. There's no blockage up to and through the fuel filter, and I can't see any kinks in the fuel supply line after the filter. Maybe something worked its way up into the steel line while I had the supply/return lines off the car?
Will experiment more on Wednesday when I have time...

if pump starts when trying to manually switch it on through relay and fuel is coming to rail, it is ok, search another things
