Ok.. I have a 1982 528e and the fuse box was melting around the fuse clips for the auxilary fan and blower. I went to a junk yard and found another fuse box for which I just replaced.
Somewhere along the line I must have messed up the wiring as now when I put the key in the first dentent postion the fan will come on if I have the A/C button on and the sunroof will operate as normal but as soon as I put the key in the second detent position and the car is running the fan goes off and I can no longer operate my sunroof.
Please help... I can not drive it this way as it will overheat if the auxilary fan can't operate.
