Barclaycard Buy & Fly formerly Morgan Stanley Goldfish

It would appear that Landround the parent company of Buy & Fly have gone in to administration. I have about 2000 points with them and ordered a case of wine, which hasn't arrived. I have tried calling Barclaycard but get put through to their indian call center who obviously don't have a clue about what I can do. Does anybody here know what I should do?

I have spoken to the travel rewards department at Barclaycard and they don't have much information at the moment, but are aware there is a problem. I am expecting a call back at some point but not holding my breath. If anybody gets any more info on can they post here please.

I tried laithwaites too just to see if they had received the wine order but they had no record of it and didn't know anything about Buy & Fly.

I used to work with a provider who dealt with them. The website is down.... all that is stated on the website is...
"This promotion is temporarily suspended for more information please refer to your points issuer."

Looks like it might be problematic. If anyone needs it their web address is www.buyandfly.co.uk

hope this helps
Graham

I saw this and it's what got me suspicious as I have been trying to call them for the past week but all you get is a message that states the office is closed. I have found a couple of news paper reports about the company going into administration such as this one.

I've tried to contact Barclaycard about this, but have had not had a satisfactory response. My concern is that the points have expiration dates and for me, my 4000 points start expiring from February next year.

Given that I entered into a contract with the card provider who undertook to provide points to spend, I'd be most irked if the points started expiring whilst this scheme is suspended. I suppose it depends on how many creditors Landround have to be dealt with first before they get round to compensating the card holders.

Also need to consider switching to a different type of card. What's the point in having a rewards scheme card with no rewards? What information did you get? On the plus side, HSBC credited back the 5 I'd paid for the deliver charge on my wine.

Just seen this on the Barclay Card website.

Barclaycard Travel Rewards Credit Card

Barclaycard has learned that Landround plc has gone into administration and ceased trading with immediate effect.
Landround provided the loyalty programme for Barclaycard Travel Rewards card customers.
We will be doing all we can to minimise the impact on these customers and we will be in touch with them shortly. Customers’ cards will be unaffected and customers will be able to continue to use their cards as normal.
In the meantime, it will not be possible for Barclaycard Travel Rewards customers to redeem points. We will continue to keep track of how many points customers would have earned during this period.

Hi

does anyone have an update on this one?

I too have points, and also ordered an anmal adoption kit for my daughters birthday in October, which never arrived.

I rang customer services, but the people there did not seem to understand what I was talking about (I think it was an offshore call centre).

Amy info would be appreciated.

Thanks

im in a similar boat -i have 2000 points - are barclays going to honour the value of these?
