MFI againsorry is CCC correct on this HELP!

Hi all,
My first post so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section but I just need to know if I'm in the right on this.
We bought our kitchen 1st Nov from MFI paid the deposit of 750 on my debit card, we paid the balance of 2250 on 21st Nov using tesco credit card, according to the section 75 guide on here we should be covered for the full amount because we paid at least some on the cc....Tesco cc have just told me that we will only be able to claim the 2250 and that we will "have to get in line" for the other 750 from the MFI administrators.
Is this right ????? because its not how I understood it from reading through all the advice on here...
Any input or advice would be most welcome.
Thanks

Is this right ????? because its not how I understood it from reading through all the advice on here...Whilst they may ask you to pursue the 750 from the supplier (or through, for example, Visa chargeback if made on a Visa debit card), Tesco Personal Finance remain jointly and severally liable for the entire amount in your case.

Thanks, I was starting to think that I'd missed something somewhere,I don't know about chargeback so I'll go have a look.Problem is, if tesco finance tell me to recover the 750 from other sources as you've mentioned then ho do I get them to actually pay me...I don't have any money for a legal battle so is there a way of forcing the issue.I have just printed out the section 75 letter on here and sent it off to Tesco finance stating I want them to reimburse the full amount.
