AMEX Direct Debit repayment


Hi,

I have just got my lovely new Amex Cashback card. As recommended by Martin I have setup a direct debit mandate as I want to clear the full balance each month to prevent interest charges.

However I can't see anywhere to manage the amount the Direct Debit will pay off each month. Obviously I want to pay off the full amount but there is no where I can see to set this. In my cahoot visa account i can set it to pay off : Minimum Payment, Full Outstanding Balance, or Regular Payment I can set myself.

How do I do this with Amex? Is it the full outstanding balance by default?

Call them on 01273 620555. You need to ask to pay the full amount. I don't think you can specify this through the website.
