my 0% 6 month deals ran out on my visa and mastercard rang 2day and asked for a repeat deal with the no fee and then spoke to cancellations and they said this deal is not available so i just rasied my credit limit instead whats the best way to get this deal again cheers james Have already had one fee-free repeat, and 2-off 30% credit limit increases (one at the end of each deal). :) Best 'repeat' I was offered recently was 6 months 0% with a 2% fee - clearly not workable in a stoozing sense...even with my 6.3% fixed Egg account. Retentions CSA suggested waiting until January to see if any new offers come along. I will do because I have so much available/used credit at the moment that closing my account won't help me get another card anyway. They did say that you could apply for one of their other cards as an existing Gold Card holder (do they have a 1.5% fee 9 month deal?). Not sure if you could swap limits though. |
