Skycard and frequent wrong penalties


Just in case it helps other Skycard users.

Skycard has been attempting to charge me an unjustified regular monthly 1 "cash transaction fee" for about 2 years. All this time, they kept refunding this amount whenever I called to complain every 4 months or so.

They finally got this sorted, but only to replace it for the last 4 months with a monthly 12 "late payment fee". Skycard has agreed to refund this every month as I pay the balance in full by DD and said it was an "IT system failure" that should be resolved. However, they have done it again!

I'm fed up with their crappy system that keeps adding incorrect charges, so will be cancelling the card. I'm just wondering how many other customers are paying these fees because of their so-called "IT system failures"

Why did they put a cash transaction charge on the card? Were you using it for cash or gambling transactions?

It just "hapenned". I do not use the card for any cash/gambling transaction.

Skycard has always admitted that it is their mistake and has been happy to give me an immediate refund.

The problem is that something like this can actually happen....How many other Skycard (or Barclaycard) customers are being charged these fees because of their "IT problems"?
