New Abbey Zero card

I am looking for a new % balance transfer card without fees saw the details for the new Abbey card Zero great just what I need but when I go to the Abbey Nat site it says there is a 3% handling fee? confused.:

did you follow a link from this website to the recommended 0% no fee card?
if not do that,it may help

I don't think abbey are offering the Zero card online anymore, I think you have to go into the branch.

Yep you cannot get Abbey Zero online anymore. There are reports of success by applying in a branch though.

If you have a decent credit score, best bet is a MBNA Virgin Atlantic card. max 50 fee, high limits (e.g. I got 21K)

I had read up on comments here about the service, but I'm not after a BT offer, so thought I wouldn't have much to lose. I saw here that the Zero was still on offer through branches, but I thought I'd call them, and they didn't say anything about it being unavailable. They even quoted the card features correctly (including the 0% overseas loading which is what I wanted - and, yes, I already have the Nationwide card) and said I was accepted. I'm now awaiting paperwork. So any ideas whether it will actually be for the Zero card, how long I'll have to wait, and if I'll get it?! I called today (applied on Monday) and they were at least able to find my application (as 'awaiting signed agreement').
