Paying Off Credit Card

Just wondered whether there are any tips tricks to paying off a credit card. I have 1 credit card and have recently come in to some money which will cover the credit card. I want to pay it off in full but is there anyway of reducing that balance the card is with Halifax and is 25% Interest. If i have to pay in full so be it but just curious.

Thanks for any help received.

I don't really understand the question here.

You can pay the card off in full, or any other amount you choose between the minimum payment and the full amount. It's totally up to you. But if you have the money to pay it in full, it's probably a good idea to do just that, to stop the interest building up.

They're getting more sophisticated but I suspect the 'pm me for details of how to avoid paying your bill in the agreement is unenforceable' crowd will arrive in a few minutes.
