I'm looking to take out a credit card, but can not decided which is the best one to take out. Is it the Lloyds Duo card which gives airmiles, or a combination of the BA American Express and say the Marriot credit card for stays in hotels.
Does anyone have any good suggestions?
I use Abbey Zero or Nationwide because they do not charge commission on foreign currency transactions.

Are you looking for a card that is going to give you holidays, or thats good to use abroad?
Hi
I'm looking to join a credit card scheme that will give me more holidays/flights/hotel deals.

OK, in that case apologies, please ignore my post, that was actually about using a card abroad and avoiding a currency conversion fee.
Hopefully others will be able to advise you on your query.

Mind you, it is still excellent advice about using the Nationwide card. The BEST card that there is.
For what it is worth though, I was persuaded to take out an Easijet Mastercard last time I was in the airport. I used it just for petrol and necessities during the month and was rewarded with the incentive of 40 off an Easijet flight. It was worth the little bit of bother. I don't know how good it will be longterm though.

Nationwide is the BEST! They treat you fairly (i.e. no commission charge + FAIR payment order, higher rates first then lower).
I use Abbey Zero for tranacations abroad as there are no charges for purchases and Lloyds Duo to build up points for free airmiles
