Re BARCLAYCARD stitching me up with negative credit scoring without warning - - -

Hi,
After checking my credit rating, I noticed that it states I have 6 payments late on my Barclaycard account, which I believe should not be there as their company agreed on a monthly payment plan of 1 per month, which the Citizens Advice Bureau wrote to them a few years ago.

When they agreed on the payment plan, I do not recall them notifying the Citizens Advice Bureau or myself that it will state 6 payments late on my account, therefore as I have kept up my end of the agreement to the monthly payment plan, I therefore would like them to remove the 6 payments late mark on my credit rating. In fact until a a number of months ago, they were satisfied, and then they instantly marked payments as payments late without a warning, and after I already made payments on time, so they lied saying that I made the payment late.

The incorrect credit rating affects me greatly. After writing to them, I have included a response letter from them, credit report copy of the credit rating, They have not even sent me statements of my accounts for years, isnt that immoral or against the rules?

This is a MAJOR pain, as I've been improving credit rating all year by paying off old debt, and this fiasco means I have to pay a higher interest rate on a mortgage next year.

As you are not making the correct minimum payments as per the credit agreement then you will get a late/missed payment indicator with the Credit Reference Agencies.

They are allowing you to repay at 1 per month, but this doesn't mean you haven't broken the initial agreement.

What is occuring is just what i would have expected i am afraid.

It isn't incorrect. You have failed to keep up the terms of the credit agreement.

Did you really expect your credit report to be unblemished after breaking the original T&Cs of the credit card?

While you say you're paying off old debts, this card is clearly not one of them.

I think there is also an option for them to show you are in an agreement and are keeping to that.

I think there is also an option for them to show you are in an agreement and are keeping to that.

I somehow think, however, there should be an option for companies who've offered one credit, and one decides to abuse said credit by only paying #1 per month for #1k's (#10k's?) (excuse the lack of pound signs,) for the company who offered credit to tell other companies who offer credit to stay well clear of said person.

Oh, hang on... we already have it.

I'm debating on the 'rolleyes' or the 'this is bleeding obvious' smiley.

Could someone help me here?
