Has anyone on here paid their Abbey credit card bill by cheque in an Abbey branch? I paid last sat, shows on online banking as paid on sat, however apparently the cheque still hasn't cleared, this is the 5th working day. Called up Abbey C/S to be told they can take up to 10 working days!?!
Can anyone comment on how long they usually take? Getting close to the payment date now, don't want a fine even though i paid a week beforehand.
