And I thought Id already seen a bad APR.....

Got this in an email today - The new freemans card is nothing short of shocking!

http://mailing.freemans.com/imgproxy/img/803801175/header.jpg

39.9%!!!!!!!!! The bloke must be in the picture to order it for her whilst she sleeps, because I cant see any other reason for her to order one!

I never heard of this card before. Is it aimed at sub-prime?

Freemans credit card is operated by Vanquis

Seems they have changed their mind about the APR... or are just very confused:
http://www.freemans.com/web/main/FS-intro.asp?FSoffer=offer06&cm_sp=FinancialServices-_-CreditCards-_-View

Says 29.9% at the time of me posting this!!
They need to get their act together.

I applied for one, and on the credit agreement it says they have 5 tiers, the lowest is 19.9%, and the highest is 59.9%!

Then don’t apply for it! The card is aimed at the sub-prime market; you clearly have a good credit rating so stick to the main stream cards like MBNA et al.
A welcome addition to the sub prime range of cards for people getting back on their feet.

dint even no freemans did a card!

dont see a problem tho.
