Clearing debts with credit cards help

Okay, i need some advise, i realise this is probably disscussed alot but i have a certain amount of debts built up on one CC, now i've only ever held one until recent and did this to use the % balance transfer period of the new card, so aslong as i make the monthly payment i dont have to pay any extra interst, so now i still have debt on the first card, so im unsure what to do to the help reduce and pay that debt off quicker with paying less interest, do i get another card aswell that has a good deal on balance transfer % or do i get a loan at a better rate than a CC has? and with the more CC i have, does this lower the credit they will give you for each new card you get?

What have other folk done and did it help them clear there debts quicker and if i keep getting other CC for these deals how does it effect your credit rating with the more cards you have?

You forgot to mention the amount you require to re-finance and the time frame you can repay the "loan".

Hi,

I have about 12K in debt, ive just took a card out with the Post office and have transferred 2K onto there to take advantage of the 0%, so that leaves me with 10k. I was thinking about getting another card from a different company but after reading on here, it seems not recommended to do this? because of too many credit checks in a certain time fram, so would it be unadvisable to get another card straight after the other?

At the moment, i could afford to pay about 750 a month but this would leave me with no extra money and the time frame to repay is open, i just want pay it off as quick as possible but paying the least amount of interest!
