I took out a Marks and Spencer credit card 2 years ago following the article from Martin regarding 0% interest for a year
I cleared the entire balance at the end of the term and am doing the same with another card now
This means my Marks and Spencer card is in my drawer, not being used
However, twice in the last year, to encourage me to use my card, Marks and Spencer have sent me a voucher worth 500 points to spend in store
500 points is worth 5.00, so the upshot is I have had a free 10.00 to spend in Marks and Spencer over the last 12 months
So, if you took out the card like I did and now no longer actively use it, don't forget to check the vouchers sent every few months
