LTSB Advance re-apply

I've just spotted the LTSB Advance 0% 6mths in Martin's email and wondered if anyone knows how long you have to wait to re-apply for this card after closing it? I can't find anything in the T&C's.

I closed mine 6 mths ago but I think it took another month or two to come off my credit files if this makes any difference. Thanks!

All companies have different policies on this ranging from 1-12 months. I usually make a point of asking when cancelling a card, but haven't had to do so with a LLoyds one recently.

Best bet would be to ring them on 01702 278272.

Applied for it on Wednesday and it arrived today!!! :T :T :T

Check the T&C - I'm sure it has no interest free period if you make purchases on the card.

It's 6mths 0% on purchases ;)

Sorry what I meant to say is that there is no interest free period outside of any promotional time period

Sorry what I meant to say is that there is no interest free period outside of any promotional time periodWell spotted. I currently have just taken out this card on purchases (and had the same card between January and July this year also) and I hadn't even noticed that! Perhaps that helps explain the 'low' standard rate of 0.945% per month.

Clearly this is a card to ditch as soon as the 6 months is up (which is what I did) I was offered the account originally through my LTSB online banking with a pre-approved limit (pretty well guaranteed acceptance) and closed it in July. In late October the same offer reappeared (you may pick a different card if suits you) so I nabbed that too!

Yes, that's true which I discovered last time I had this card when I used it to make a transaction outside of a promotional period ;)

I had 4 repeat deals on the last one before closing it earlier this year so will see how much I can get out of it this time round, but it will only ever be used for promotional rates
