hsbc credit card

I have a Hsbc card i did balance transfer and paid it off. Started the card in 2007 and paid it off fully at least 6months ago, but it still shows on my credit history as open.

Displays balance as Zero, but file updates are regular, last one 28th of Sept.

All other cards that i closed are shown as Settled.

But this one just shows balance zero. I rang them and said could it be closed properley, they told me it was and i couldnt get them to understand that it was still visible of having a Credit Limit of 2,500.

I also sent them a letter explaining, thinking that it get more action, i didnt get a response.

Am i correct that it shouldnt be displayed on my history as active?
Its just if it is thats 2500 of my credit allowance taken up unneccessarily.

The card im on about shows as this on credit expert

Account type:Credit card / Store card
Started:09/02/2007
Current Balance:0
Credit Limit:2,500File
Updated for the Period to:28/09/2008
Status Satisfactory Balance 0

Surely my Card should be displayed as Settled, it wont take 6months to update the history
