credit cards for abroad

Im going to america soon and just wondering which credit card would be best to use, so i dont get charged and also still have 0% on spending

nationwide credit card does not charge for making payments abroad, and not long ago they had a 0% deal for a few months (cant remember how long)

if you want no charges on cash machine use you will need to get their current account though and use their debit card

American express have a 5% cashback on at the moment.

Abbey were at one time promoting Abbey Zero which does not charge
for purchases abroad or withdrawing cash abroad (still attracts interest from
day 1 though)

My Citibank debit card did not attract fees when I used it abroad to purchase and withdraw cash
