Home-Pay off or not

Pay off or not

Have a capitalone credit card, the basic one with the "lovely" NOT interest.

balance of hmmm 407? now...this month I should have 600 left after bills as i am getting a bonus. I need about 600 to go skiing with obviously wasn't going to save 600 this month.

my question.. should I pay off my credit card to save interest but a) pay for my skiing clothing and also equipment with it...or do I just pay the min and save the money for the holiday in my savings account.

does that make sense

anyone? argghhhh

If you can get a 0% deal on a Credit Card, then I would advise saving the 600 in an ISA, paying for your skiing on the card and making Minimum Payments whilst in the promotional period.

Once the promotional period expires, either use the ISA funds to pay the card off or transfer to another 0% deal and keep the ISA funds accruing interest.

If you are not on a 0% deal, then I would definitely pay the card off as quickly as you can.

Hope this helps.
