disassociating my name from property &or people

I'm in the process of separating from my husband, this is amicable and his post will cotinue to be sent to my house for now, how can I ensure my credit rating will be officially based solely on my own name without his name wrecking any applications for loans/credit? He is awful with money and I don't want to be affected by his possible bad credit.

do your credit records show you are financially associated with him
if they do you need to contact the agencies and have yourself disassicaited with him

Until such time you no longer have joint bank acounts/mortgage/credit cards/loans/debts etc you will be associated. If you are not financially tied in any way, then you should advise the CRA's of the fact who will then disassociate you, however your current address will remain as a linked address regardless of whether you still live there or not.
Where his post is sent is immaterial in this respect.
