Can anyone help!!

I have a Capitalone card with 0 on it and a 4000 credit limit at 14.9% pa
I also have a Virgin card which was 0% for 15 months. And 0% on balance transfers until Oct 2009. I have 1200 on this. Unfortunately I accidently spent on it last month which now means I am having to pay interest. I know STUPID!!:o
Can I move the 1200 to Capitalone and then when this appears on the statement move it back to Virgin and take advantage of the 0% until Oct 2009??
Its all a bit foreign to me but does this make sense?
If this is correct I will definately cut up the Virgincard so no more mistakes are made. Hope someone can help!

It depends how much you have spent on the Virgin card ?

If it is not too much you are probably best just to take the hit on the interest on the purchases rather than pay 2 Balance Transfer fees to move the entire balance away and back again.

Hi, thanks, only about 100 if that!

Hi, thanks, only about 100 if that!

Interest for a full year shouldn't be more than 30 on this.

I would take the hit and just make sure that you don't spend on the card again.

Good Luck.

:D Thanks NickX
Cutting the card up as we speak!!!

Have you tried phoning Cap1 to see if they are foing any Balance transfer promotions right now? Some banks give these to existing customer - 0% for 6 months or low interest life of balance transfer. Might be worth asking.
