Home-Credit Card Debt

Credit Card Debt

Hi, Im just looking for a bit of advice for a friend. What can you do about credit card debt if you have been sent to prison? There is a largeish amount outstanding and they are being hit with the high interest rates and struggling to make the payments. What can be done to help. I thought of moving it to a low interest account for the term of the debt? Is there another way.

Any help greatly appreciated.

thanks

You could reccomend your friend write to the bank to explain the situation and request that interest be freezed on their accounts. It might be worth contacting citizens advice to see if there is something that can be done.

This may be of use.
