Caught by Barclarycard change in payment terms

Hi all,

We've recently been caught out by a 'hush hush' change in the payment terms by Barclaycard. They apparently notified customers somewhere in the small print of the Sep/Oct recent statements. Payment terms changed from 28days to 20days. We were caught out by this and have been charged intersted on the 'late payment'. When I phoned customer services and complained they apologised and waived the late payment charge, but would not refund the interest charged. I've written a letter of complaint to them but would be keen to know if anyone else has been caught out by this. I know a couple of friends and colleagues who have too....

The best thing to do would be to set up a DD min payment and then overpay using the Barclaycard internet banking system.

(i haven't been caught out because i listened to my dad :)

I'm guessing you pay your card in full every month? If so this has gone on for ages... click here (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=14691143#post14691143) for my post in another thread on it.
