Removing CC default

Hi,
Im sorry if there is already a thread about this...im new!

I have a default on a credit card (HSBC) and was wondering if and how i can get it removed? Even though my IVA is finished, this default is stopping me from getting a mortgage. can any one help?

Thank you!

Your default will stay on your record for 6 years from the date of the IVA.

ahhh, poop! thank you for your reply though

Make sure that the default is dated no later than the start of the IVA and that they are marked in some way to show that they are now settled/satisfied.
