Credit search question

Many lenders now use a combination of credit reference agencies for their searches.

However does anyone know whether they will typically search more than one agency in respect of an individual application, or do they just receive an application and just search one agency?

I say this because the indebtedness showing on my reports is spread virtually half and half between equifax and experian!

Here is table showing the information you're after

Thanks, but this table does not deal with my question. I know most lenders have more than one agency on their panel but does that mean they search their whole panel of agencies for one application or just one agency from their panel?

Any help appreciated.

There really is no way of telling with 100% accuracy whether any lender will stick to historic patterns and search a particular CRA or all of them. Sorry!
