My credit rating with equifax and experian is bad but not with callcredit? its good with callcredit! why! can someone point me to the thread about which companies use which credit check Monument Visa only check Call Credit, everbody else checks Experian and Equifax. Barclaycard only check Equifax as do Flybe, JJB and any of the Sygma Bank card famliy, other than that they all check both Experian/Equifax or just Experian. If by 'credit rating' you mean those 3 digit numbers they charge extra for then I wouldn't pay much attention to them. They're useless to be perfectly honest. What information is it that was bad? I got my credit report using CreditStatus.com and one of the agencies they work with was CallCredit. Their website explains how the credit agencies work so there could be some information on their FAQ that could help explain the difference. It may depend exactly what type of information it was which was bad. Well if we go by the "stars" it says both the Es have 1 star and call credit is 3 star. For example, Callcredit I have 3 defaults, Equifax I have 2 defaults, and Experian I have 0 defaults. It is really random, but if you're looking for a lender go with one who searches your best file. |
