What is the name of your state? New York My question is this: I was just served with a summons to answer for a credit card debt. I checked and the SOL has not expired. I am unemployed (a homemaker), my husband was recently laid-off temporarily and we have few to no assets. What should I do in response to this summons and who should it be addressed to if I do, the credit card company or the court? Thank you for any help you can give me!
