...is that to be translated:"account" or is there something by the name "accounting account"? To me the latter sounds ridiculous, what do the accountants say? Is there such a thing in your world or not?

I posted a question yesterday, I think it was. The question was: What is "una cuenta contable." No one answered me. I suppose no one knew, then.
Look, for everybody's info I now found out what it is. It is: Ledger account in Eng.
"Contable" in this context simply means that the amount has been entered into that ledger.
And so it goes.
