What is the name of your state? Indiana Are there time limits for foreclosing on property that was included in a chapter 7 BK? I'm asking because my BK was discharged in July 2005 but the mortgage company has reported the foreclosure with an April 2006 date. This is causing problems with a mortgage application. The BK is no longer considered a problem because it's been more than 2 years since discharge. But the foreclosure date on the credit report is less than 3 years ago and that is causing a problem.
