What is the name of your state? GA Had pending foreclosure on our home in July 2007....filed Chapter 7 BK end of June 2007. Did not reaffirm the mortgage as the monthly mortgage payments now exceeded our monthly income....just no way to keep the property. BK was discharged October 2007. Home was foreclosed on December 2007. My question is here in the state of Georgia...since the mortgage was not reaffirmed was this wiped out in the BK or will it show on my credit report as a foreclosure? I have seen several similar questions but various answers. Sorry for a repost but know things are different from state to state. |
