M70 temp problems

Hi again. I am adding to an old engine temp topic of mine from several months ago. My engine had been overheating (city driving), and we concluded that the coolant system needed to be bled.. that fixed that problem. But when i was driving highway speeds after fixing the overheating problem, the engine was running quite a bit below operating temperature.. I am wondering if it is the thermostat stuck partially open. If anybody has advice that would be great!
Running cold is almost always a stuck open thermostat.
I'm with Terry..........your stat has fallen apart inside the housing..........new stat time......
Agreed, Also! There was another guy about 3 weeks ago with the same problem, I think it was NickF, Anywoo! Solved by the same guys above, His Thermostat had broken inside the housing.
It was me alright. Link below may help. Avoid OEM thermostat, it is stupidly expensive.
