How can you tell if it is a true Csi?

There's a car for sale that has the Csi decal on the trunk and has the kit. But how can I tell that it is a true Csi? I have my doubts cause it has other decals that don't belong.

Dash is a good way.

If the VIN starts with "WBS..." then it is a CSi, if it starts with "WBA..." then it is a regular 850

That is the best say. Not early as fun though. ;)

Also the inner door panel with the important info metal sheet should say BMW 850CSI.
