Just a thought if you want to get yourself a nice gift this year!!:)If you want it I'll pick it up for you and keep it in my garage till you come get it..
I love disclaimers:
"a few people have brought to my attention this may not have pistons/rods/etc inside. i am having a bmw technician verify the inner components and have no intention to mislead anyone into buying a complete engine if in fact it is not*"
...looks complete to me, couldn't resist :)
That is not a real CSi engine, it is a M70 made to look like a CSi, Jud Spencer of 8coupe.com emailed the guy to get the engine block number and it is a M70 not a S70.

That one is the real deal, it has been in 2 cars already though and most likely has very hard miles on it seeing as how it is coming from Koala Motorsports.
If your thinking of swapping motors it is not that easy I am told, I think you would have to swap the computers also.
If I were going to spend that kind of money I would go with the 6.0 Liter conversion like Ahmed's http://www.racingpowerplant.com/bmw_m70.htm , or look at a custom TT setup or both. Or you could do a LS6 vette swap but then you don't have a V12. Or maybe go really wild and do a Falconer http://www.falconerengines.com/prod04.htm

KOALA Motorsport has had this engine in 2 cars and they claim 85K miles (hard miles, as mentioned in the other post), probably more than 85K though. It supposedly comes with the computers, but for some strange reason the alternator and power steering pump will be switched out. KOALA has had this for sale for a while, and they were asking $17,900 - D R E A M O N ! ! ! Even at $10,000, probably not worth it...
For that kind of money, you can have a Racing Dynamics K55 motor hand built.

I would have to get rid of my Strut Brace, But i like that hp and torque and it's probably lighter.

No sorry I don't, It would be interesting to see how much thought.
800HP is the street engine, the race one can go up to 1100HP normally aspirated or 1600HP supercharged, Holy crap!!
Your do need to swap the computers
the eml end in 005 whlie the m70 six speed ends in 004
hell for that price you can have my my engine for stroked to
5.5 with 400 + hp
Jim do have any info you can send me about Racing Dynamics products not just the engine stuff but other products also?
Sure I can put some together after the hoilday
Not much around any more i can still get some of the original Itialian stuff
Their are enough pistions and cranks valves cams to do 3 more of my motors
clutches logos i think some springs, body kits they will make for me per order not the US rd the Euro Rd. Headers if we buy 15 sets. I am trying to get two sets done to have. but i just may invest the time any money custom build my own with jet hot Market is not big enough i will send the cluster out after new year with the ekm I have to move the three cars i have in ny and start
choping one next week so i wil get that to you, the engine and tranny found a home, on the 93 diamond black, as well as the sb and half shafts. then on 1/4 i fly to my brothers in FL for the weekend
and me and a a buddy are going to take the euro car down like ants
on a hot dog at a picnic in july. My brother has a shop there and did not make sense to take it to NY for $1000 bucks vs 234$ round trip Cant wait to take hi res photos of that fancy induviaul interior. no way i was gonna let my brother take that car apart by himself, My first euro and M73 all i have been doing is m70, could not pass that up its going to be a fun experince.
Good Night
Jim
I wonder if that EURO knows what it is in for when we get down there???
