ACS + CSi Body Kit Pic

Well, I think I have made up my mind--I appreciate the input/opinions from folks around here.

I'm going to go for the ACS rear bumper trim and ACS side skirts along with the CSi nose and CSi mirrors.

Here is a Photochop version. I won't be going for the any trunk spoiler yet as I have not yet determined if I actually like 'em (it would be nice to see one in person at some point).

Let me know what u think!

Nice choices Koizumi. I like that.

What are the prices you've found on the ACS side skirts?
Looks great. Question...with the ACS side skirts, can you still access the side holes needed to lift up the car using the trunk jack?
The sideskirts don`t flow with the lines of the car IMHO..
I don't see where the expense of side rocker skirts add anything over the stock appearance.
AND the ACS skirts cover the jack points as well.
I have to agree with Tonn, it does break the lines and don`t flow :-( I am looking for a setup as well, and so far I like Reenes' setup.... I like the lil wings on the back side of the stock skirt....
No offense friend :-) I hope.....

If it were me, I'd do the front and rear but not the side skirts. But it's not me, so do whatever puts a smile on your face when you look at the end result.
Looks great bro... making up your mind on this one will be tough, but either way you go your gonna love it.

Yo,
Rod
I like it...The only drawback is the jacking points IMHO..Otherwise , I know you like it as you PS the parts on it to see what it would look like..I say do it!!!! Keep a small floor jack in the trunk just in case..:D

The car is so Heavy, Jacking it somewhere else will cause stress on bushings etc... The splitters on ranes car looks pretty good if you really need a different side skirt, I believe RD's side skirts still make the jacking points accessable, Not sure though, I would go with ranes addition to the original side skirts if i was to make a change, The set up you got there would look better if you went ACS all around, The lines in the Csi spoiler clashes with the AC Schnitzer sides, IMHO!
You guys bring up some interesting points--thank you.

I have another important question: does the ACS nose sit lower than the CSi nose?

Is there more 'clearance room' since the ACS nose sits further behind than the CSi nose?

I am dropping the front 1.5" with H&R and I'm worried about speedbumps and driveways.

PS. Does anybody have some ACS E31 pics for reference?

Sure liking that driveway! I had some, Roadfly has some with them side by side, If i find them in the gallery, I will update this post, I had the pics but lost a HD with all my goodies to boot, The ACS is definately lower tha the CSi.

I sure like the NEW 7 series!
Koizumi, the person to ask is Alex (schnitz850) over on clube31 he has a full ACS kit.
From this pic it looks like she's almost be on the ground if you dropped her 1.5" in the front...

Koizumi... You going to drop the front and not the rear? I sure like the way the white Dinan TT looks squatted all the way around.

Charles... is your car lowered? can you post pics of your car again or provide link to previous post?... I couldn't find them.

Yo,
Rod
Is this what you are worried about? I would worry too:)
Wouldn't get up my driveway apron...
Wow, I thought my car was low, I bet it looks mean in the rearview.
Woah, Terry, thanks for the pic. That settles the score. No ACS nose for me, the streets of Los Angeles would tear that thing to shreds in seconds--especially with an H&R drop.
The car in the picture is in Hong Kong and that was his complaint as well. :(

..My wife said the same thing when I brought my 8 home (actually I think she said "Ford Probe"). The divorce was final less than a month later... (J/K)
Lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!

Yes, the ACS nose is lower than the CSI. I have about 5 inches of clearance on ACS springs with an ACS nose. It clears my driveway (although I built a little concrete ramp in the gully that normally sits between a driveway and a road.)
Mines is 3 1/2 inches from the ground with H&R's up front, I did cut one coil and i have 20" Rims, Without the big wheels i would'nt have cut one.
I went out and remeasured while I was taking photos. 5 inches exactly on the ACS nose piece. Lowest part of the car is on the ACS side skits at the very back at the rear wheel. 4 3/4" clearance on that.
Is your ride fitted with lowering springs or OEM springs?
Lowering springs. ACS branded as well.
I should've guessed that :buttrock
I priced some ACS body parts yesterday and I simply can't believe what they want for the side skirts. They just seem disproportionate to the other elements costwise.
