Grease on the Seats - HELP

I was hoping someone could help me out. I searched through the archives for this but couldn't find anything.

I took my 06 Taco to the dealer to get my rear shock replaced and brakes cleaned. Good news was the brakes stopped squeaking but the bad news is I now have 3 new grease spots on my (formerly pristine) drivers seat from the tech.

I called and they said I could bring it back and they would take care of it, but I am a little nervous now because it seems like a careless mistake. I don't know what method they are going to use to try to remove it but if they are going to end up doing more damage than good I would rather do it myself.

Any suggestions on how to remove the grease stain on my gray cloth seats?

Thanks

Time to buy some new seat covers:clap:
Yeah, tell them to fix it and if you aren't happy they owe you a seat. Stand firm.

Sears will not work on a car without seat covers and mat cover, even though my truck has seat covers.

On a sidenote... it's not approved for it, but Greased Lightning got grease out of our carpet.
I use citrus based cleaner to remove grease stains. You can get it at Home Depot or at any Wally World. Spray it on a rag and then wipe the stain with it, it should remove it all with minimal effort.

PS If you DON'T WANT to do this. MAKE THEM CLEAN IT and if it's not good enough for you, they OWE YOU A NEW SEAT!!
i would just let the stealership fix it worst case you get a new seat i wouldnt even worry about it
Yeah, the dealership should have a professional upholstery cleaner machine that should be able to do the job.
I set a pair of pliers on the seat one day and grease got all over it. :sosad:

I used resolve foaming caret cleaner. It worked great.

But, if they dealer broke it, THEY FIX IT.

Just my $0.02
yeah, let them fix it. if they screw it up further, it's on them-don't try some snake oil bs yourself and make it worse, then you're on your own.
