Home-Cleaned mag wheels

Cleaned mag wheels

Spent 2 hours cleaning and buffing them. What can I spray or rub on them that will help in not attracting brake dust, etc. and bonding to them as strongly as it does?

I used nu-finish on my old vw alloys. but it was more to protect from decay. Maybe some kind of wax will help
Hey WorkhorseTaco,

Now that you have spent all that time cleaning your wheels you want to protect them and add a little POP. Adam's makes a perfect product for that, our Brilliant Spray Glaze: this easy on easy off spray will give you that POP and at the same time offer Protection!

Let me know what you think!

Thanks,
there you go dude.....tip some pop on them  :D
:D Thanks jdhog,

I enjoy POP!

Take it easy,

On factory alloy with a coating, I like a spray wax like Mothers FX because it's a spray on (I usually spray on the towel) and wipe. You can get it at Pep Boys.

There are other options depending on the finish.

So how come they were so dirty that you had to clean and buff for 2 hours? What was your process?

I use Klasse all in one. It's like a polish/sealant that is applied like a wax. I use the powerball mini, but you can put it on by hand. just buff off and you have rims that POP and are protected from brake dust and dirt/waterspots.
Just sheer neglect...been working on other more important areas of the truck up until now. My wheels have alot of nook and crannies...I washed with stiff brush and soap and water first. Then I used Mother's hand rubbed wheel polish..worked good. Thanks for the advice of above who recommended that I wax them..and which I then did.
