I received my new polished wheels today but one of the wheels has this strange mark on the back. Adam or anyone care to offer some recommendations on how to remove it? I also need some advice on how to properly maintain these wheels since I've never had polished wheels before. Thanks!

It's hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like it might have been bumped while polishing the back of the spokes. It looks like spot just got cleaned up a bit. Is it smooth?
Yes it is. Looks to be just on the surface. I try rubbing it off but it didn't work. I think you're right about the polishing machine bumping up against it.
I'd just get some good metal polish and try hitting just that spot -- whatever it is, a good polish like Mothers Mag & Aluminum should take care of it. I don't think you'd have to hit it with a wheel.

To protect the shine, it may depend on your personal preference. You can use a pure carnauba wax to help keep the shine you have, but once in a while expect to use something like Mothers Billet Polish to bring back the mirror finish -- you can use it either with a nitrile glove soft applicator or a PowerBall. Avoid terry and hard pressure as you'll cause marring. Billet Polish does tend to offer some protection on its own.

Avoid harsh wheel cleaners, and wash them often (be sure they're cool) and with a soft wash mitt.

To me, there's nothing like the look of polished billet, and those are sure real nice wheels!

I like the Wheels, they look sweet. Adam's carries an awesome metal polish. We actually have a two step process Metal Polish #1 and Metal Polish #2 (http://www.adamspolishes.com/c-17-polish-wax.aspx). The product will work just as well as any of our others, guaranteed to give that "POP".

As for the black mark I would try using some metal polish on it and see how that works.

First I'd try a moistened Mr Clean Magic Eraser. They are great at removing scuffs. But if that doesn't work then using some aluminum polish should do it.

I'll be trying the Adam's metal polishes soon. I usually use Mother's Billet Aluminum polish. We'll see how Adam's compares.
Thanks guys! Justin, I'm going to order some of that polish #1 and 2. For the blemish, do you think Polish #1 would do the trick?

Using just Adam's Metal polish #1 will certainly get the wheels shiny, but the addition of Metal Polish #2 adds just a bit more shine.

The wheels look Awesome on the Truck!!!

Metal Polish #1 is going to be your first coat, working hard to clean the wheel, and free it of tarnish. And like PB said Metal #2 is your finisher, you will always want to finish with this, for that show winning POP.
